Land Acquisition of Ciliwung Waterway Project Continued

East Jakarta Administration keeps accelerating land acquisition for Ciliwung waterway to East Flood Canal project. The National Land Board (BPN) has issued 98 land maps that will be acquitted. Jakarta Dept. of Public Works will be involved in a land price meeting before the land is paid.

East Jakarta Land Procurement Committee (P2T) Head Arifin said, land acquisition process for Ciliwung to KBT in Bidara Cina, Jatinegara, keeps accelerating. Meeting about land mapping also has been done.

"We temporarily leave residents who refused their land to be bought. Land inventorying must be continued. And land mapping is issued for residents who support us,"  Arifin said, Tuesday (6/17).

Locals Protest, Ciliwung's Waterway Project Stagnated

East Jakarta BPN is now finalizing the maps, even some of them have been issued in urban village office.

According to him, land inventorying for about 6,126 meters square have been announced. There are three RWs in Bidaracina urban village; RW 04, RW 05, and RW 15.

The land that already inventoried and measured is RW 05, precisely in RT 06 by 45 land maps. Next are RW 04 in RT 10 by 13 lands, and RT 09 by 1 land. There are three RTs in RW 014; RT 4 by 16 lands, RT 5 by 6 lands, and RT 7 by 17 lands.

About 200 lands in RW 04 RT 07, 08, and 09 have not be measured yet since the owners are refusing.
